PMU – Arrival of the quinté of Thursday March 2 at Paris-Vincennes: Fakir de Mahey returns to victory

    Arrival fifth : 9 – 1 – 7 – 12 – 11

Despite having set off with number 9 behind the wings of the autostart, Fakir of Mahey (n° 9) signed his fifth victory since June 2022, the fourth of his career in the temple of trotting. To do this, the one who is trained and driven by Mathieu Mottier has not done in the lace. After having waited during the first part of the course, he placed an uppercut on his opponents at the top of the climb and could not be reached even though he had not run since January 14th. Despite a good defense on this course of 2,100 m of the big track, Bilo Jepson (No. 1) had to settle for second place and is ahead of the favorite Gaspar de Brion (No. 7), seen for a long time in the lead, and more than usual.

At the foot of the podium, fail Falco d’Havaroche (#12) and Gamay of Iton, (n°11), the only two competitors at the finish having set off on the second line behind the car.

Kévin Romain, Stéphan Flourent, Dimitri Fortin, and our Synthesis indicated the fifth out of order in six horses.
