Here we are talking about “parent hens”. On the other side of the Atlantic, “helicopter parents”, those parents who “fly” above their children in order to prevent all possible dangers. But from innovation to innovation, we have entered the era of the panoptic parent, policing his offspring incognito and 24 hours a day thanks to an ecosystem of apps and cookies of all kinds.
Attention, it is not a question of making a new lawsuit to the parents after the debate around the “queue in your room”. Let’s leave them alone once and for all by admitting that they – for the most part – are doing the best they can for their children. But let’s open our eyes to all the sellers of applications and digital tools who make their money on this feeling that is born at the same time as our children and never really leaves us: worry.
